24th ITCN ASIA

The 24th Information Technology Commerce Network (ITCN) Asia Conference held on April 18 -20, serving as a key platform for local and international companies and investors to finalize business and investment deals worth an estimated $500 million in IT, telecom, and related sectors.

Nearly 600 companies participated in the IT trade show, featuring events like the AI Summit, World CISO Summit & Awards 2024, Global Digital Summit, Investors Summit, and various roundtable discussions on policy, skills, enterprise, animation and gaming, as well as the ITCN Asia Global Security Symposium and Freelancers Summit. The event also highlighted local innovation with the “Made in Pakistan” Roundtable Conference.

During a panel discussion on “Infrastructure Development in Pakistan: 5G & Cloud Technology,” Asif Aziz, Chief Business Officer of a leading cellular company, stressed the importance of extending high-speed 4G services to rural and semi-urban areas to achieve the “Digital Pakistan” vision.

He highlighted his company’s efforts in driving 4G adoption, which grew from 17% to 90% of mobile broadband subscribers over the past five years. Aziz described digital connectivity as more than basic access, framing it as a tool for a comprehensive digital lifestyle.
